PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Colleen's real estate career began in 1993 as a sales associate with Burgdorff Realtors, a family owned firm with 30+ offices. She acted as a company appointed mentor for new agents while excelling in real estate sales. In 2009 after the company had become an ERA franchise, it merged with sister company Coldwell Banker. That transition allowed Colleen to remain a consistent producer, qualifying for Circle of Excellence and ranking in Top 10% of the Company. She obtained her NJ Broker's License in 2010 which offered her additional training in negotiations and agency law and was named a managing broker in 2012. Colleen managed offices in both Somerset and Essex Counties and during her tenure as Vice President, and she was named to NRT's President Council as a top performing manager out of 750 offices nationwide.

Colleen made the decision to return to real estate sales and marketing in April 2019 and as of May 2024 now serves and assists Regional VP Michael Pennisi in Business and Skills Development for his region's six offices.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND

Colleen is a longtime resident of Northern New Jersey, raised in Clifton, with 30+ years in Maplewood and a recent move to Basking Ridge with her husband George. George has been the Managing Broker/Branch VP of the Westfield's Coldwell Banker office since 2002. Son Matt who has more than 15+ years of experience with real estate sales and relocation services with Corcoran, Sotheby's, Remax and Coldwell Banker, continues to excel in real estate sales. Daughter Maggie lives in Massachusetts and works for the non-profit Svara and youngest son Bobby is an Emmy award winning Broadcast Associate with MLB (Major League Baseball) located in Secaucus, NJ.
